Sri Lanka: Construction of Polpitiya-Hambantota 220kV Transmission Line
Client: Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB)
Scope of work: Polpitiya-Hambantota 220kV, double circuit, three phase transmission line with one Optical Fiber Ground Wire (OPGW) & one Galvanized Steel Wire (GSW), approximately 150km long, including 484 towers.
It is the first and longest 220kV transmission line in Sri Lanka that exclusively uses Chinese products.
